-[ radio broadcast • playlist server ]-
can you imagine that the playlist of your radio homepage indicates not only the
last 10 tracks, but rather so many played tracks as you want and moreover also
yet the coming tracks?
then you are here entirely correct:
this tool, which functions with winamp, gives your homepage profesionality.
moreover the page (as far as the related browser of the user this supported) is
refresh automatically. your listeners will thank if they already can see the
tracks lying in the pipline.
different options are available to make the playlist page to your needs.
an example as well it could be yours is to find here:
radio r·e·n·r·e·w.
how it looks lets be simply change over a html templates,
what the entire latitude of that html programming offers.
the areas for coming, running and played tracks are made with tags in
the html document.
technical:
momentarily it has two kind of output.
once a local html document that for example is in a web server directory to serve,
and a ftp output to update the playlist at your provider. a included web server
for the playlist (like your-ip-address:port/playlist) can, if interest around,
be there in the future. however the ftp is very resource friendly because
it must feed only one output and processes no inquires.
and here three screenhoots:
the page with the attitudes as well as logfile, local html, that html template,
ftp attitudes, playlist played coming tracks, correction for crossfade,
would indicate of time duration, and so on.
the second page shows the playlists, in accordance with attitudes.
and on the third page, the html document is indicated how it
appears on the homepage.
is what yet and in the future?
this is a beta version. it could have some improvements. for example i would
like to have headline as a subject to the stream (done),
then an option to show the change of track around # seconds before,
then to adapt the playlist.pls with your changing ip address,
then another thing is an included web server to make sense wich in place of
the ftp serve the playlist directly (where the ftp is very much resource friendlily
because it does not process inquires). and and... so further.
the program is written with visual basic. the error correction yet very simple,
incorrectly given values with input, wrong local file names and so on can lead,
(done) then simply restart, or correct the wrong valued in the file broadcast
palylist server.dat manually.
now is everything say, remains only the
download:
the file is a zip-file of 2'344 kb and includes a setup file which
is generated with inno-setup.
